About this room

Tye Phelps opened Love and War in Texas in Plano around 1999 on a simple premise he has stated plainly: he grew up in Texas, he loved Texas, he loved food, he loved music, and he wanted one place that had all of it. It runs as an Old West-themed roadhouse with a Southwestern menu and live music, and the outdoor stage - a grassy picnic area with a small stage, capacity around 300 - is the part people come back for. Rusty Wier and Gary P. Nunn played there. So did a teenage Miranda Lambert, years before anyone outside East Texas knew who she was.
