Before service, inspect every tool for cleanliness, damage, calibration, correct assembly and a stable home position. A tool is not ready because it is present; it is ready when it can perform its control reliably.

3. Complete operating method
  1. Define the result. Read the title, house standard and service context. State what a successful quality control, defect recovery and waste learning result must look, taste, feel or operate like.

Do not call a correction successful until the next measured result meets the original standard. When the cause is uncertain, reduce variables and compare a fresh control.

  4. Variation. Diagnose one intentionally changed variable and return the result to standard.
  5. Room transfer. Complete a mixed-order, ticket-wave, guest-interaction or handoff simulation.
  6. Teach back. Demonstrate the task to another learner and answer “why” questions without relying on the page.
