The practice
Build the reference to the written spec — dilution, rim, ice, and glass all decided.
Everyone tastes it at once.
Everyone builds one. Taste blind alongside the reference, in a fixed order, with a duplicate inserted.
Name the differences aloud.
Then rewrite the spec to include what it was missing.
And schedule the next session.
The reference
The reference build, which converts a standard from several private memories into one shared experience.
What you are building
The recognition that four bartenders following the same spec produce four different drinks and none of them is wrong — because a spec listing quantities has specified about seventy percent of the drink, per Module 56.
Dilution, the rim, the ice, and the day's citrus are all silent.
Verification and boundary
The blind spread, before and after.
Boundary: state-approved seller-server training is a separate requirement that no internal training replaces.
