This is the launch playbook of Chapter Eighteen as a working checklist. A dance night can succeed or fail on how it’s built and launched, and an empty opening night can kill a night before it begins. Work through every section before you open, check off what’s done, and don’t skip the unglamorous groundwork — the floor, the foundation, the seeded crowd — because that groundwork is exactly what separates a launch that takes root from one that quietly dies.

The Room and the Floor
