Where the mats go. A slip requires a low-friction surface and a shear force — and the shear comes from turning or reaching, which means slips cluster where liquid crosses a walking path.
Which is a structural finding: look at where liquid actually goes — the drain, the ice overflow, the point where pans get dumped.
