About the Author

Riley Epperson is a public relations strategist, writer, and Texas honky-tonker based in Central Texas. He has spent years in these rooms—as a chef, a bartender, a regular, and a close observer of the relationships that make a good night work. A graduate of Concordia University Texas, he writes the Keep ’Em Coming Back series for the owners, bartenders, musicians, dancers, teachers, and regulars keeping Texas honky-tonks and dancehalls alive. His work treats public relations not as publicity alone, but as the daily work of earning trust, strengthening community, and giving people a reason to return.
